As per recently received advice, I will be posting images that I don't feel very strongly about and as of yet have not been convinced they belong in the final selection.
Here are some 'maybes' and others which don't really do much for me.
* After I posted this, I realized I'm not sure what I think anymore. Some of the maybe's I'm really not sure about, while some of the No's seem to have some potential. Even a few of the images in the post with photos I enjoy, now seem sort of banal....

Maybe...
This one was a no until I placed them together like this to post.... there is a fourth house in the row, I think, which, for some reason I didn't photograph. Now, however, since the snow is gone, I'm not sure that's an option... I might redo the whole shoot and see what happens.

That CIBC sign bugs me....

I think the other image of these rowhouses is much more successful.

A different orientation/version of my favourite photo. Though there is some serious darkroom work to be done, this could work.

I'm not sure.... it might just be a cliche, 'sad couch on sidewalk' picture....

I tend to immediately gravitate towards photos of bridges or ones with a great reflection in them. Sad they are in the 'no' section.
ReplyDeleteI really like the first photo posted.

Thanks for your views, Dana. That's why I'm doing this - it really helps getting different perspectives and opinions. I think I like the first one, too, now... I'll have to work on it a bit and I'll see how it turns out.
ReplyDeleteBring these to your seminar. There definitely IS something going on here. Keep pumping it all out, keep writing, keep posting. See you Wednesday.
